## About

Since 2023 I have been working as an IT manager: I look after servers, workstations, networks, security and backups, and I deal with technology vendors. Before that I worked as a web developer, first freelance with iskode and then at Magellano, on custom websites and business applications.

In my spare time I build the projects you'll find below: an Android app with Android Auto support, a web radio's website, and two sites that publish content generated with Gemini, with automated checks and my own review. I write them with the help of AI coding agents such as Claude Code; the analysis, technical decisions and testing remain mine. I offer the same experience to small businesses that want to use AI in their everyday work.

## Services

I help small and medium businesses and professionals make technology work: from everyday IT infrastructure to custom websites, apps and automation, to using AI in the office.

- **IT consulting for businesses:** Review of the existing infrastructure, choice of hardware and software, security, backup and business continuity. A single point of reference for technical decisions and for dealing with vendors.
- **AI consulting:** AI in office work: documents, emails, quotes and procedures. Automation with models such as Gemini and Claude, with checks and human review; hands-on staff training; attention to privacy, GDPR and the AI Act when choosing data and vendors. Examples from my own projects: Scientifico and Diramo.
- **Websites, apps and web tools:** Custom websites, management tools and web utilities in PHP, JavaScript and MySQL, or WordPress when you need a site you can update yourself. I also build Android apps with the same technologies. Examples: CoolZone WebRadio's website and app.
- **Automation and integrations:** Workflows that run on their own: publishing content, sharing it on social media, connecting a website to external services through APIs, with automated checks. Examples: Scientifico and Diramo.
- **Hardware and network support:** Setup and configuration of workstations, servers, printers and networks; troubleshooting and maintenance.
- **Support and training:** User support and hands-on training, so people can use their tools on their own.

I work mainly in Apulia, on site. Consulting, development and support are also available remotely across Italy.

**What kind of clients do you work with?**  
Mostly small and medium businesses, professionals and freelancers who don't have an in-house IT team or need extra support.

**Do you work remotely?**  
Yes. In Apulia I also work on site; consulting, development and most support can be done remotely anywhere in Italy.

**How much does a website or a consultation cost?**  
I have no fixed price list: the cost depends on the work involved. Once I understand what you need, I send you a tailored quote.

**How long does it take to build a website?**  
A presentation site usually takes a few weeks; a custom management tool depends on its features. Timing is stated in the quote.

**Do you offer support after delivery?**  
Yes: updates, maintenance and fixes when needed, or an ongoing agreement.

**If we bring AI into the business, what happens to our data?**  
Before suggesting a tool, I check where the data ends up and whether the provider uses it to train its models: many free services do, while business plans and paid APIs usually don't. It's the same check I make as an IT manager with every vendor.

**Does using AI in the business require a paid subscription?**  
Not always. Free versions are often enough for a first try, without entering confidential data; for daily use with business data you usually need a business plan or API access, paid by usage. We decide which one together before we start.

### Scientifico — science blog — Blog + editorial automation
Scientifico is an Italian science communication blog on WordPress that publishes Gemini-generated articles through a Python script run by GitHub Actions. I started the blog in 2025 and in 2026, with the help of Claude Code, I automated text and image generation, publishing and sharing on Instagram and Telegram. I review every article after it goes live, and each one states that it was generated with AI.

### CoolZone WebRadio — website — Website
CoolZone WebRadio is the website of a 24/7 streaming web radio that I built in 2026 in PHP and JavaScript, with a weekly chart and an admin panel. Tom Palmer curates the chart, which pulls cover art and audio previews from iTunes. A versioned API serves the track on air to the mobile app.

### CoolZone WebRadio — mobile app — Android and Android Auto
CoolZone WebRadio is the Android app for listening live to Tom Palmer's web radio on a phone, Bluetooth headphones and Android Auto. I have been developing it since 2025 with Ionic, React and Capacitor plus a native Kotlin plugin that handles the notification, audio outputs and the car integration. It also launches on Android TV; Google Cast support is in development.

### Diramo — calculators for freelancers — Self-updating web portal
Diramo is a free portal of online calculators for Italian freelancers, which I have been building since 2026 with the help of Claude Code. It is a static Astro and TypeScript site that grows by itself: twice a week a GitHub Actions pipeline uses Gemini to generate a new calculator and publishes it if it passes type-check, build and numerical checks. The automated checks do not verify that formulas are correct under Italian tax rules, so I review every generated calculator after publication and fix it by hand when needed.
